When it comes to video production, Luke has worn just about every hat under the sun. From cinematography to sound mixing, associate producing to color correction, his ten-plus years behind the camera have made him something of a swiss army filmmaker. He has written and directed numerous narrative and documentary shorts, garnering awards and nominations on the festival circuit.

Born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina, Luke received his BA in Philosophy from Furman University. After spending a year teaching English in France, followed by a brief stint in the insurance industry, he moved to Waco, Texas to pursue his MA in Film and Digital Media at Baylor University. Upon completion of his degree he moved to Austin to immerse himself in the local independent filmmaking scene.

Luke never meets a stranger. His experiences, both abroad and across several industries, has made him insatiably curious about the stories of others. His career in video production is fueled by his desire to tell those stories and save them for posterity. When he’s not working on his own projects, Luke likes to run, lift weights at his neighborhood gym, read good books, and watch movies that are sometimes older than his grandparents.
